Generation #1:  John Stovall was born around 1820 in Kentucky.  He married first Mary Branson July 16, 1840, in Gasconade County, Missouri.  Mary was born around 1820, in Kentucky.  She died before October 13, 1857.

          Children:

               1.  Sally Stovall was born around 1841, in Missouri.

               2.  Nancy J. Stovall see Generation #2 below.

               3.  Thomas Stovall was born in October 1844, in Missouri.  He died July 3, 1904, in Missouri.  He married Nancy Jane Erickson May 27, 1869, in Gasconade County, Missouri.  Nancy was born September 10, 1853, in Missouri.  She died June 26, 1930, in St. James, Phelps, Missouri.  After Thomas died, she married Hardin Carroll,(See Generation #5 in Carroll Family Tree.)  Thomas and Nancy's children:  Louisa I. Stovall born around 1873, in Gasconade County, Missouri, Mary E. Stovall was born around 1876, in Gasconade County, Missouri, Eda Elizabeth Stovall was born around 1878, in Gasconade County, Missouri, and Charley Stovall was born February 8, 1888, in Oak Hill, Crawford, Missouri. 

               4.  George Stovall was born November 15, 1846, in Woolam, Gasconade, Missouri, and died December 19, 1935, in Brush Creek, Gasconade, Missouri.  He married Eliza Dorinta Jenkins.  She was born August 20, 1850, in Woolam, Gasconade, Missouri, and died October 30, 1921, in Canaan, Gasconade, Missouri.  Children:  Almeda E. Stovall was born January 15, 1871, in Maries County, Missouri, and died December 12, 1944, in Owensville, Gasconade, Missouri.

               5.  Martha Stovall was born around 1851 in Gasconade County, Missouri.

          Spouse #2:  

               Nancy Tackett married John October 13, 1856, in Gasconade County, Missouri.  She was born around 1830 in Missouri.  They had two children:  Preston Stovall was born around 1858 in Missouri, and M.A. Stovall was born around 1859, in Missouri.

     Generation #2:  Nancy Jane Stovall born on December 29, 1843, in Gasconade County, Missouri.  She died on June 17, 1903.  She married Hardin Carroll (Click here to see Hardin Carroll's story.) February 4, 1872, in Hermann, Gasconade County, Missouri.  He was born on July 15, 1846, in Bay, Gasconade County, Missouri.  He died on February 17, 1916, in Oak Hill, Crawford County, Missouri.

          Children:

               1.  Luster Carroll see in Generation #6 in Carroll Family Tree.

               2.  Andrew Jackson Carroll was born on September 6, 1873, in Oak Hill, Crawford County, Missouri.  He died on October 12, 1955, in House Springs, Jefferson County, Missouri.  

               3.  Nancy Elizabeth Carroll was born ca. 1875, in Missouri.  Died, ca. 1880, in Missouri.

               4.  Lillian Ann Carroll was born September 16, 1878, in Gasconade County, Missouri.  She died on October 22, 1931, in Oak Hill, Crawford County, Missouri.
